The state of Nevada is well-known for its fast divorces. To file for divorce in Nevada, either spouse must be a resident of the state for only six weeks before filing a petition.
The residency must be proven with an "Affidavit of Resident Witness" form, filled out by any other resident of Nevada who may testify that the filing spouse meets the residency requirements.
