Wyoming Residency Requirements for Divorce

Spouses have the right to file for divorce in Wyoming provided that they comply with the state's residence rules. Thus, a divorce lawsuit can be filed if either spouse has resided in the state of Wyoming for at least 60 days before the commencement of the action; or if the marriage occurred within the state and one of the spouses has lived there from the time of the marriage until the petition was filed with the court.
